EXPERIENCE

•Managed the leasing of storage units.   I am also responsible for minor building maintenance, HVAC and the general appearance of the property. I assist customers with their rental needs by utilizing Cubesmart’s VALUE goals.  I work with other management personnel to schedule and execute lien sales of delinquent accounts.

 

•Provided end to end management services for the construction, splicing, testing and commissioning of a fiber optic cable system used for pipeline monitoring and signaling as well as intra-company communication.  Interacted with contract personnel, the engineering group and company management to ensure a quality product was provided in a timely manner.  Provided inspection and recommendation services during the construction of a gas pipeline system.  Managed pipe receipt, trenching, bedding, pipe stringing, welding, pressure testing, and documentation.

 

•Supervised copper mining operations in the San Diego, CA area for a contractor working for AT&T.  Managed twelve teams to accomplish the required work on time and under budget.

 

•Matrix Management as Regional Manager, LDN, Saudi Arabia

o Seven Managers; Sixty Eight Supervisors and approximately two thousand contract personnel.

o Met with each of the five major contractors weekly to keep updated on the progress of each project and to eliminate delay issues.

•Project Management of the design and installation of DSLAM / 7330 for MasTec/Bell South in Florida.

•Familiar with Comscope and Emerson Cabinets.  Met daily with the Bell South project group to ensure timely and accurate work was being performed and to provide updates on the construction program.

Ÿ         I have completed many company sponsored courses such as: Engineering Economics, Project Management, Job Planning and Administration, Interactive Management, Quality Process, Theories of Fiber Optics and others.

Ÿ         My work has caused me to become familiar with large tracked cable plows, dozers, excavators of various sizes, large trenchers, aerial trucks, and side boom tracked vehicles.  I have enjoyed large building expansions and maintenance.  I am familiar with the welding required on pipeline projects as well as fault verification x-rays.  I have managed the construction, operation, and monitoring of very large well point systems.

 

To be successful in all the above positions, I was required to meet with large community groups to present company plans and to explain how the construction and restoration process would proceed.  I also was required to meet with local, state, and national group managers to secure rights-of-way and to resolve any problems they might have had concerning the proposed projects.  I meet with corporate leaders of various cities and organizations to secure private rights-of way and incorporated their needs into the company route design as required.
